Cardboard House Press—a 501(c)(3)nonprofit literary and art press and organization— is committed to finding, translating, editing and publishing the best of modern and contemporary literature and art from Hispano-American and Spanish geographies and getting it into the hands of as many readers as possible. Our workshops provide hands-on exposure to our literature and art projects and connect community members to an integrated, bilingual space where all are welcome to participate.
In order to fulfill this mission and to reach as wide of an audience as possible, we rely on support and involvement from people like you who value artistic exchange, and it’s thanks to your support and collaboration that we can exist and succeed.
With your donation, we can carry out these plans and projects:

$250: pay fees to attend a book festival
$400: conduct a bilingual workshop at a local school, bookstore, or prison
$1,500: design & layout for a book of poetry
$2,000: invite a US-based author and translator to do a public reading
$3,000: print and publish our next bilingual book
